Stuffed Bell Peppers

6 Large Bell Peppers, halved seeds removed
Feeling:
2 lbs. Lean Ground Beef
2 Cups Instant Rice
1 Medium Onion, diced
1/4 Cup Worchestire Sauce
1/2 Can Tomato Sauce
1/2 Can Diced Tomatoes
Salt & Pepper, to taste
2TBSPN Italian Seasoning
Sauce:
1 & 1/2 Cans Tomato Sauce
1 & 1/2 Cans Diced Tomatoes
Salt & Pepper, to taste


In a large bowl mix together ground beef, instant rice, onion, worchestire sauce, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes salt, pepper & seasoning.
Feel each pepper half with mixture mounding a bit on top.
In another bowl mix together tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, salt and pepper. Place stuffed peppers in a dutch oven and pour sauce over them.
Cook in 350 degree oven for 2hours, covered. Enjoy.

Scrapping

I have some new layouts I wanted to share. I have been using the free kits from http://shabbyprincess.com and templates from http://scrappingwithliz.blogspot.com/.


The next layout was creating using free papers from Little Dreamers designs and an overlay I purchased from scrapping with Liz for only $1.

The heart overlay is the very first digital scrapbooking purchase I have made.

Potato Soup with Ham and Cheddar

Ingredients:
4 1/2 cups potatoes, peeled & cubed
1 stick butter
1 large onion, chopped fine
5 tablespoons flour
cayenne pepper (to taste)
black pepper (to taste)
5 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups cooked, cubed ham
2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese,

Preparation:
Cook potatoes in boiling water until tender. Drain; reserve 2 cups of the liquid.Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onion; cook, stirring, until tender. Stir in flour; season with red and black pepper. Cook for about 3 more minutes, stirring. Add potatoes, reserved liquid, milk, and salt; stir well. Add ham; simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and let cool for about 5 minutes. Add cheese; stir until melted.

Your completed voter registration card must be mailed or returned at least 28 days prior to the election (Tuesday, October 7, 2008 for the General election)

Chocolate

My Sister and I just made some Chocolate Suckers w/a Halloween theme. I accidentaly burned most of the orange chocolate so I ran a little short.

Illustrator CS3

Tonight I installed Illustrator and I feel like such an idiot even after reading and watching several tutorials I cannot understand. I cannot find any basic tutorials everything seems to jump right in to something. I think I am just to old to learn new things. When I was young I could open a program and figure it out without any help but not any more its ridiculous. So disappointing, I was so excited at first to finally have illustrator. I was imagining all the vector greatness I would be able to create but it just was not to be. I will keep at it though and maybe i'll figure it out eventually. In other news this day has seemed so long and I really have not accomplished anything. I started cleaning my desk area and didn't finish. Maybe I will do so before heading to bed. I need to clean the kitchen......uhhhg.

25th BDay Scrapbook

I didn't have a good picture of just myself to use for this so I had to use one of my Sister and I.

Really bored lately and not feeling very creative. I haven't actually felt 100% in a while. It sounds totally crazy but the Presidential election is totally stressing me out. Lately Obama is losing to Mccain in the polls and it worries me to think we could lose this election. Change and hope for something more is so close for America but we are allowing it to slip away. I will feel better when it's all over in November which ever way it goes. I know that I am doing all that I can.
